“Falling Water” Yacht Spa
Dornbracht approached GCMNA to create a dream spa to showcase their products in the marine context. The concept was driven by the brief to “embrace nature” and “maximize natural light”. This work was presented at the German Superyacht Conference, 2020.
The pool above allows sunlight to filter down into the lower floor which, on a yacht, typically remains dark and cavernous. Waterfalls offer privacy between rooms while filling the rooms with light. Water appears to flow down from the pool above, along the floor and finally out into the sea. In reality the system is completely contained and recirculated inside the spa.
Bugatti 100p (Rhino 3D)
Detailed 3D model of Louis de Monge’s unlimited racer, designed in 1938. Bugatti supplied the twin 50p supercharged straight 8 engines for the aircraft. The outbreak of WWII ended all development of this airplane and it was mothballed in France.
Staircase
Created as part of a series of conceptual fixtures and furniture for a yacht, this project was shelved for a over a year before I took the styling seriously. This work is an evolution from that original drawing as I believed the concept had merit.
Proteus PR-50
This concept yacht is based on the sketches I did several years ago. I realized my portfolio does not have enough diversification for my interests and embarked on a creative and challenging surfacing project.
